Day one of this course introduces some broad concepts about role of MSATS in the industry and then drills down into more detail about how MSATS contributes to accurate and efficient NEM settlement. We look at how customer transfer information is entered into and used by the system in terms of timeframes, rules and obligations.

Day two continues to demystify the inner-workings of MSATS by looking at how Master Data and metering information are entered into and used by the system. We also look at how MSATS is ultimately used for wholesale market settlement and the IT systems and processes which chug along behind the scenes and make it all happen.
