AEMO Helpdesk

The AEMO Helpdesk is a service provided to registered Gas and Electricity Market Participants to assist with the resolution of operational IT related problems, including installation of, and systems administration support for AEMO supported products. The specific services provided are as follows:

  • For the Electricity Market the AEMO helpdesk provides 24 hour, 7 day week assistance for all IT related problems.

  • For the Gas Market, specifically the Wholesale Markets (STTM and the Victorian Declared Wholesale Market) and the Retail Markets in Victoria and Queensland AEMO provides a 24 hour, 7 day week assistance for all IT related problems.

Gas Helpdesk

The AEMO Gas Helpdesk is a service offered to gas market participants and interested parties. It offers assistance with queries about the Declared Wholesale Gas Market in Victoria, STTM (Short Term Trading Market) and the retail gas markets in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA and VIC. This helpdesk service operates on Melbourne business hours.

In relation to the Gas Retail Markets that operate in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and South Australia, AEMOs outsourced IT services provider LogicaCMG operates a helpdesk to assist with operational IT related production problems during business hours only.
