ELECTRICITY MARKET

AEMO conducts regular consultations seeking feedback from market participants, the broader industry and other interested parties. Consultations generally consist of a number of stages and can remain open for a considerable time. Timeframes for each stage of each consultation are provided with the suite of documents relating to that consultation. Consultations are deemed closed when all stages have been completed and a final report is published.

The gas market conducts various consultations on different aspects of the industry, including MCE reforms.

NETWORK SERVICE PROVIDER

AEMO publishes notices of consultations being undertaken by Network Service Providers (NSPs) as per it's obligations under the National Electricity Rules. For further information regarding these NSP consultations please contact the relevant NSP using the contacts provided for each consultation.
