The synchronous generating units currently expected to be synchronised in SA from 0800 hrs 20/04/2024 will be inadequate to maintain a secure operating state in SA .

AEMO estimates that, in the absence of sufficient market response by 1400 hrs 20/04/2024, AEMO may need to intervene by issuing a direction requiring one or more SA synchronous generating unit(s) to operate or remain synchronised to maintain power system security in SA.

Note: Participants are encouraged to ensure their VPN connections are already established or are configured (as per AEMO best practice) to automatically failover to the alternate AEMO NSW datacenter termination point (202.44.78.10) prior to this scheduled outage.

B2B VPN - Up to 2 hour outage to TNSPs with B2B VPN to AEMO QLD Datacentre if VPN connection is only terminating in QLD only

SSL VPN Participants: None expected as DNS entry will be updated to remove QLD IP.

GASHUB: No impact is expected as GASHUB is currently operating out of NOR Datacenter.

Other Impacts will have been communicated in advance.
