STTM Rules, STTM Procedures and STTM Interface Protocol

A number of specific legislative instruments, such as the National Gas Rules and STTM Procedures are required for the operation of the STTM.

STTM Rules

The National Gas Law (NGL) amendments to authorise the STTM were proclaimed on 1 January 2010. The NGL can be found at www.legislation.sa.gov.au.

The STTM amendments to the National Gas Rules (STTM Rules) were proclaimed on 7 May 2010. The STTM Rules are now Part 20 of the National Gas Rules which can be found on the Australian Energy Market Commission website (www.aemc.gov.au).

STTM Interface Protocol

The STTM Interface Protocol governs the provision of communications in the STTM. The SIP contains the following artefacts:

  • Participant Build Pack
  • Participant Build Pack Business Validations Addendum
  • STTM Reports Specification
  • MOS Offer Requirements and Validation Rules

STTM SIP Corrigenda

This Corrigenda describes any errors and the corrections to the STTM SIP or its artefacts until AEMO makes the required amendments to the SIP or its artefacts through formal consultation.

Following the SIP consultation during March 2012, the items identified in the STTM Interface Corrigenda Issue #4 were included in the updates of the SIP artefacts with an effective date of 17 April 2012.
