Reallocation Procedure: Swap and Options Offset Reallocations - Consultation

This notice is to inform all National Electricity Market Registered Participants, Intending Participants and interested parties that AEMO has completed the consultation on the Reallocation Procedure: Swap and Option Offset Reallocations. This consultation was conducted under clause 3.15.11A of the National Electricity Rules (NER) in accordance with the NER consultation requirements in clause 8.9.

The Reallocation Procedure: Swap and Option Offset Reallocations describes how Market Participants can create and record swap and option offset reallocations.  This procedure has been updated to require confirmation of an underlying contract for ex ante reallocations and to amend the descriptions within the validation rules table. 

The Final Determination was published on 4th May 2011, with an effective date to be established once a clearing license exemption has been obtained.
