Power System Stability Guidelines Consultation

This notice informs all National Electricity Market Registered Participants and Intending Participants (Consulted Persons) that AEMO is conducting a consultation on the Power System Stability Guidelines required by National Electricity Rules clause 4.3.4(h).

The National Electricity Rules require AEMO to develop stability guidelines, in consultation with Registered Participants, in accordance with the Rules consultation procedures.  The power system stability guidelines must detail the policies relating to power system stability to facilitate operation of the power system within stable limits.

Submissions in response to this Notice of Second Stage of Rules Consultation should reach AEMO by no later than 5:00pm EST on 13 April 2012.
