Electricity Statement of Opportunities

AEMO published its 2012 Electricity Statement of Opportunities (ESOO) on 9 August 2012. The ESOO provides a broad analysis of opportunities for generation and demand-side investment in the National Electricity Market.

National Transmission Network Development Plan

Regulatory Investment Tests for Transmission (RIT-Ts)

AEMO’s Planning department conducts RIT-Ts on potential transmission projects. The consultation documents for these are available on the website for the duration of the study.

South Australian Advisory Functions

The South Australian Advisory reports are independent reports prepared by Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and published for the South Australian Jurisdiction in accordance with Section 50B of the National Electricity Law. These reports will cover a number of topics including planning requirements for new generation, information about generation and demand, analyses of historical electricity generation, wind generation and investment trends.

Victorian Annual Planning Report

The Victorian Annual Planning Report (VAPR) supports Victorian energy market investor decision making by providing transmission network planning information for the electricity Declared Shared Network (electricity DSN) and gas Declared Transmission System (gas DTS) over a three to ten-year outlook period.
