Constraint Relaxation Procedure Consultation
AEMO has completed consultation on Constraint Relaxation Procedure.
The consultation was conducted under clause 3.8.1(c)(1) of the National Electricity Rules (Rules).
AEMO consulted on:
- Consolidating the principles of the constraint violation penalty (CVP) factors application and over-constrained dispatch (OCD) rerun processes into a single constraint relaxation procedure.
- Proposing a process for making changes to the constraint relaxation documents. AEMO proposes to continue consultation with the DPRG for operational changes to the schedule of CVP factors and the OCD rerun process, and more broadly for more significant changes.
