AEMO’s ability to control these contributory factors – to improve alignment between Dispatch and Pre-dispatch – depends on whether the factor relates to the market design, its implementation, or is an externality.
The document also describes the functions of Dispatch and Pre-dispatch, and how AEMO monitors the performance of Pre-dispatch.
