Susan has worked in the IT industry for 13 years with prior experience in HR and management across the oil and gas industry, Defence and state government. In 2013 Susan was recognised as the Victorian and national iAwards CIO of the Year.
Throughout her career, Susan has paved the way for innovation. Susan’s previous IT roles have comprised operational service delivery, enterprise architecture, project implementation and business case development.
Most recently, Susan was Executive General Manager IM&T at VicRoads where she was instrumental in managing the strategic acquisition and operations of VicRoads information and technology assets. This included direct responsibility for strategy, security, service delivery, project management, business intelligence, spatial services and sourcing for VicRoads core information management and technology capabilities.
“We are very excited to welcome Susan joining AEMO and working with us to achieve our vision and key objectives,” said Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Matt Zema.
