kilovolt ampere (kVA)
A unit of apparent power equivalent to the product of one kilovolt of voltage and one amp. Where the power factor is less than one, the real power will be less than one kilowatt.
A kilovolt is a unit of potential equal to a thousand volts.
A kilowatt is a unit equal to one thousand watts.
The standard unit of electrical energy that represents the consumption of one kilowatt over the period of one hour.
