Victorian Gas Planning Report (VGPR) 2013
The 2013 Victorian Gas Planning Report (VGPR) provides information on the Victorian Declared Transmission System (DTS) including an overview of the system, pipeline and production facility capacities, and the capacity of the DTS as a whole (system capacity).
The VGPR contains information about the DTS performance during 2012 and winter 2013, including maximum supply and demand.
Capacity planning information includes peak day gas demand forecasts, and DTS supply and capacity assessments for the five year outlook period (2014–18).
The document also contains information on committed pipeline expansions and other augmentations to the DTS, emerging capacity limitations, and potential solutions. The VGPR is used by market participants, facility operators and government to assist in market, operational, and investment decisions.
The 2013 VGPR consolidates and replaces information previously contained in a number of publications including the gas sections of the Victorian Annual Planning Report (VAPR). The VAPR will now focus on electricity.
