Electricity Transmission Use of System Charges

The Electricity Transmission Use of System (TUOS) Prices for the period 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013 provide TUOS prices for each transmission terminal station in Victoria. 

These prices are used to calculate the charges applicable for each Distributor and transmission connected load in Victoria. 

TUOS prices are recalculated annually in accordance with Chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules.

Revised Proposed Pricing Methodology

Under Chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules, AEMO is required to publish its methodology for calculating Transmission Use of System prices to apply to each transmission terminal station in Victoria.  The methodology must be consistent with the pricing methodology guidelines published on the web site of the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).  The AER’s pricing methodology can be accessed via the following link
